SKBBSS’s Vidya Mandir CBSE School celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm. The event began with Portrait Pooja followed by a welcome dance by the students.
The Chief Guest, Smt. Roopadevi Bangar, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the achievements of women in shaping the nation. Guest of Honour, Sri Prabhakar Joshi, spoke about the importance of women in society and beautifully compared women with nature. Smt. Channamma Patil, President of Veerashaiva Mahila Foundation, spoke about women’s role in nation building. Sri Satya Kumar Bagodi, Academic Coordinator, shared his thoughts on the importance of respecting women. Smt. Sheela Nirni, member of SKBBSS, and Principal Smt. Shobharani Patil delivered the introductory address.
Members of Veerashaiva Mahila Foundation, Sedam were felicitated for their selfless service. More than 100 parents were also honoured for serving food to students and staff on Children’s Day.
The event was anchored by Smt. Jayshree Patil and the welcome speech was delivered by Smt. Rajshri Miskin, coordinator.
